Touted as the UK version of ER, Always and Everyone (A&E) ran for four seasons from 1999 to 2002, riding a fine balance between drama and soap. A top notch cast (Martin Shaw, Niamh Cusack, Michael Kitchen) and excellent episodic writing helped produce a good quality medical drama set in the emergency department of St Vic's.
