This is the 1990s reboot of the original 1970s series, The Tomorrow People.

Creator Roger Price saw these Tomorrow People as less certain about themselves, less skilled in the use of their special abilities. Everything you loved about the original series (the music, the opening titles, the Lab, TIM and those jaunty belt buckles are gone, replaced by a cosmopolitan cast and a spacecraft.

The new Tomorrow People were the Australian Adam Newman (Kristian Schmid), American Lisa Davies (Kristen Ariza), and Briton Kevin Wilson (Adam Pearce). Kevin's cousin, Marmaduke "Megabyte" Damon (Christian Tessier) is fascinated with Kevin's powers, and helps him. Lisa is replaced by Ami Jackson (Naomie Harris) from the second season.

The new series was slicker and better acted than the original, but without the original gimmicks it became just another kids-with-powers show. It lasted for three seasons.
