Acting is generally good, especially by Georgina Sherrington as the main character, Mildred Hubble. She is the youngest of the main cast and does an extremely good job as a witch-in-training having a tough time. Most of the other main teenagers do similarly good jobs, although Mildred's best friend Cas Crowfeather, played by Abeille Gelinas, is a bit of a let-down. Bobby Barry has a bit of difficulty with Nick Hobbes, but only because Hobbes' character is such a cliché.
Sadly the show only ran for one season though there was plenty of scope for more seasons. A new version of the worst witch has been produced ("The New Worst Witch"), but no news of a new Weirdsister College.
