This is one of the better soaps on television today. A lot of people don't like the mob direction that the show is going in. Personaly I love it because it gives you the action and yet the love stories at the same time. I love most of the story lines. And I love watching how all the charaters interact together. This show has the most endearing love story of all times the couple that all other couples are judged on Luke and Laura. Like every other soap it includes a fashion magazine run by the towns socialite. I live to watch this soap every day and It makes me sad when the weekend comes because it won't be on.

i started watching general hospital in 93.. I fell in love with the character of brenda Barrett.. then her and Sonny kept me glued... in time I fell in love with Jason morgan which keeps me glued to it even now..So handsome, charming and even dangerous.. I loved Jason & Sam.. they became my supercouple they split but i still love to watch both amazing characters.. I also love Maxie she's so honest, poor distressed Lulu, the tragedic love story of Nik and emily.. so many different things to watch all in one place.. Great show.. the writers been sucking lately but still great show.. its the soap opera that feels more like a primetime drama .. love it

So, I watch it for a while and just today I see him and every scene he is in he says like 8 words or less! Well, despite that, I got hooked! I enjoy the ocasional scenes with John in them, Which is just what I wanted to see but more of it, I never thought I would actually like this show without him as a main character but WOW! I do NOT like soaps but this was great! I just REALLY REALLY wish that they would give John more scenes, or at least more speaking in his little scenes. I was very irritated that he's not in it very much, but I really do like the show. I want the people that create this show to think about this, you've gained a vital new fan all because of John J. York. I know a whole lot of my friends, when they heard that John was in the show they did the same as me and now you have many other new, fresh fans. I think for that and other reasons(like him being a great actor, despite his age) he should get a bigger role. I don't know what the reason for the extremely small role he has but please try to get him a bigger role! I would very much recommend this show to anyone who enjoys...well, shows. You don't have to like soap operas to like this show! :) I remain a loyal fan to John and now to this wonderful show!

The show is strong, courageous and at times light hearted! Lately the show has been more dark than easy going. It needs more light hearted characters. More Diane, Spinelli and Julius! Life is so heavy these days, we need more light hearted fare. We need more people like Kate's pal Julius to bring more fun and zaniness to the show. Sonny is dark and brooding and b=very serious, however he is very receptive to Julius and all his shenanigans. Makes it more appealing and more everyday. From Luke and Laura-we all love Laura, to Robin and Anna, Monica and Alan, we watch this show to learn and love. We also use to watch this show to laugh!
Lets bring back the laughter of one of our favorite past times!

General Hospital these days have gotten pretty boring repeating story lines over and over again, but whatever story line brings back Genie Francis, I'm all for it! In fact I hear this story line is going to be pretty dam good with Julie Marie Berman, Brandon Barash, Kin Shriner, and Anthony Geary. So, I say c'est La Vie with all this mob crap and Laura Wright's Carly meddling all the time because I am soooooo ready for Genie, Anthony, Kin, Julie, and Brandon to blow us all away on screen and off!!!! !!!!! !!!!! !!!!! !!!!! !!!!! !!!!! !!!!!! !!!!

General Hospital is my weekday fixed in my life when it got very interesting for me in the last couple of years. I didn't really understand the soap when I first watch it when I was younger. But as I got older and understood the soap, I started watching it almost everyday and still am. Now it one of the few show I watch when my favorite shows goes on a break because of summer time. Since General Hospital is a soap, it airs almost daily though out the year. Which give me something to watch. Plus, I grown to love this soap and suggest to anyone to watch it. Keep General Hospital going because a lot of other people love the soap too from what I can guess.

I am 14 years old and I can actually watch General Hospital with interest in it. I love the cast. My favorite of all of them is Carly. Im not sure why but she is. I've been watching it since I was like 12 and I was really into it then. I wonder how other people my age feel about it. I think the plot is usually well written but they just keep eliminating people like idk what. lol. Thats like the only part I dont like. Like Georgie and Dylan.. they were so cute together then Georgie had to go and die and Dylan went off to college. What the heck!

I have been watching GH since about 1995 and i usually look forward to watching every episode, but lately i feel i could miss a few episodes. The Lulu and Johnny story reminds me of the whole Luke and Laura story and i'm expecting it to end in a similar way. I'm very bored with the Robin and Patrick story and i have been for sometime now. I feel that Jax is being very unsensative to Carly's situation with Michael and maybe they should both move on. I don't really see Sonny and Kate lasting very long at all. Although GH has not been very exciting lately, i still need to watch every episode for fear that i might miss something great.

GH has become political. Ex. starting the free clinic followed by the debate between Nicholas and the mayor, the comment from the young nurse, "This defines what's wrong with the American Political System" I watch GH for fun and to get away from politics, now even GH has entered the arena. Sorry, you lost me as a long time viewer.

It's a shame, because you have a great show. As long as you voice political views I refuse to watch GH. It defeats the purpose of your show. If you desire to go down the political road, soon you will receive the same ratings that the news shows are getting. So many American's are tired of being told how to think and act.
