Bonnie Hunt is a versatile writer, director, producer and actress who has conquered the worlds of film, television and theater, always giving the audience something to think about.

Growing up in one of Chicago's blue-collar neighborhoods, Hunt pursued an acting career while simultaneously working as a nurse at Northwestern University Hospital. She began performing at Second City and from there made her way into feature films. She became familiar to audiences with her hilarious and unforgettable cameos in such feature films as Rain Man, where she played the toothpick-dropping waitress, and in Dave, as the comically dedicated White House tour guide ("We're walking, we're walking �").

Hunt's television accomplishments are considerable and innovative. Previously a regular on the television series Grand and Davis Rules, she was highly recognized as the first woman to write, produce and star in her own series, The Building. The ensemble comedy featured Hunt and her Second City colleagues. She went on to write, produce and star in the critically acclaimed series Bonnie.

Hunt portrayed Ren�e Zellweger's over-protective sister in the film Jerry Maguire. Additional film credits include The Green Mile, Random Hearts, Jumanji, Only You, and the family hits Beethoven and Beethoven's 2nd. She has also lent her voice to Disney's animated hits A Bug's Life and Monsters, Inc.. Most recently she starred in Stolen Summer and is currently filming an update of the charming classic, Cheaper By the Dozen.

One of Hunt's proudest accomplishments was directing and appearing in Return To Me. Hunt and Don Lake wrote the screenplay.

Bonnie Hunt has become a name in households across America. This is pretty much based on the hit movie and sequel "Cheaper By the Dozen". What I don't understand is how her pilots either don't get picked up or don't last very long at all. I don't know to much about her first 4 show attempts. I do know that "The Building" and "The Bonnie Hunt Show" happened to last a season or less. But her latest show "Life With Bonnie" got canceled after 44 episodes and a Golden Globe nomination. This upsets me very much, based on the fact that this show caused histeria. I really saw the values in the show, which are gone from almost all sitcoms today. This show had such great family morals. I was lucky to have some of the episodes taped and watch them all the time. After this was canceled, she tried another sitcom called "Let Go". This wasn't picked up. I'm not quite sure what networks have against Bonnie Hunt or what they don't find appealing, but she is a wholesome comedian, who is underestimated. Not only does she act very well, but she is a writer and director and has other titles in the business. She isn't the funniest woman out there, by any means, but she is a wholesome person, and is quite histerical. She goes for laughs, not on one-liners but with situations and how she deals with them. I know we can't go back and renew her shows, but we can embrace Bonnie with open ears and hearts and eyes and give her another chance with acting on the small screen. She really is a quality act and has a lot going for her, especially her humor. I do believe that she is one of the most underestimated actress' in the business.

Bonnie Hunt is a very humourous actress and some of her bests are Jumanji and Cheapr By The Dozen. I love it how she speaks to herself which is alot of her personality in some of her movies.

OK here we go:
Bonnie Hunt is a very funny actress but she can also play serious roles as well.
I love watching her in movies and on Life with Bonnie (although we rarely saw it in Australia)
She seems to be a very natural person who likes to have fun. There is something about her that I just really like although I cannot pin point watch it is exactly. I think it is because she just seems so down to earth.

Some of her movies I have enjoyed are:
Jimungi
Return to Me
Cheaper by the Dozen, 1 and 2
... and I cannot think at the momment but there are more!

As I have seen much of her work she is very hillarious. Her best work of all was a tie between "Chaeper by The Dozen" and "Jumanji" She is histarical! I love the way she is serious when she makes her jokes. Her preformance in "Betoveen" was very good also.

I love how the second the camera roles she IS that character. She is no longer Bonnie until the words "Cut" are yelled. Or if someone messes up a line she is funny when starts a little joke such as in "Cheaper By The Dozen". When Steve Martain in "Cheaper by the Dozen" messes up in the "Phone" scene when talking to Nora, she calls Steve an idiot. Very funny!
