Emma Roberts was born on February 10th, 1991, to parents Eric and Kelly. At an early age Emma's parents lives in different places. Her father re-married with Eliza Roberts and she has a younger half-sister, Grace Nickels (January 2001).

Emma grew up in a family of acting. She is a niece of actress, Julia Roberts and Lisa Roberts Gillan. Julia Roberts had her tv show "Unfabulous" created for her. Emma never even auditioned for the part of Addie Singer.

" I remember her telling me one day she wanted to be like her aunt." recalls dad Eric who has acted himself.

"I pretty much supported her in everything she did because I knew it was something she really wanted to pursue."

Emma made her acting debut in the film "Blow" along side Johnny Depp.

"She always reads her own scripts. I asked her why she chose this one, thinking she would tell me it was because she liked Johnny Depp. And she looked at me and said, 'Daddy, I get to say the 'f' word four times.' It was hysterical." replied Eric of his daughters first film.

As time went on Emma grasped film roles such as "Big Love", "Spy Mate" and "Grand Champion". "

Emma has been attending Archer School for Girls in L.A. along with Caleigh Peters.

In 2004, she would star in her own Nickelodeon show "Unfabulous" for which she plays a spunky 7th grader who plays the guitar.

"The most embarassing part about doing that show is when I have to sing. Because it's like there's a whole crew watching you do it and it's hard not to laugh. But I just go out there and do it to get it over with." Emma confesses.

She is friends with Nickelodeon actress and Britney's younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears. She was also voted People magazine's most beautiful child at age 14. She knows about 4 chords on the guitar.

Has a song called "If I Had It My Way" on the Ice Princess soundtrack.

Emma Roberts is one of the most talented teen stars of today. So let me go overall about what I think about her.
Unfabulous- Her acting in Unfabulous was okay. There were times that she acted WAY to overdramatic. Like in "Best Trip Ever" when Geena and Zack wanted to go out she started to be all up in there bussiness acting like it was the end of the world if they dated. The only episode that she was dramatic and I liked it was that episode when Addie found out that Jake was dating Pattie because that was just sad. So her overall acting in Unfabulous was okay but too overdramatic.
Singing- Okay I know that alot of people critizic her for her singing and all but it wasn't her descion. It wasn't her fault that she had to sing in the show and put out an soundtrack for it. It's the producers fault. She may not be the best singer but seriously people need the layoff her with that.
Nancy Drew- Nancy Drew I have to say is the best role Emma's ever gotten.The movie was exciting and you can tell her acting has improved. She was amazing in the movie.
Wild Child- I know that this movie isn't out yet but I've seen the previews and it seems intresting and her acting looks pretty.

Seems like she has potential and is so far a pretty good role model for young girls. Hopefully she will do some serious acting soon and not just kiddy stuff. A lot of celebrities come in because they are related to famous people, I don't think that makes them bad. If I had a famous relative, I'd want to be like them too. She was good in Aquamarine and okay in Nancy drew. I can't wait for Wild Child to come out. People need to stop being jelous because she is famous and get over it. She def. has the talent. Oh and she def. has good fashion sense! I love her outfits at premieres and stuff.

I think her acting in Unfabulous is really suckish. she sings in Unfabulous. And trust me she doesnt sing well. I mean she sings just like Miley Cyrus aka NOT good. I so hate her when she acted in Unfabulous. But when she acted in Nancy Drew. WOAH! i really loved that movie, i really loved her. she acted so serious. and that is so how Nancy Drew is should be. I really loved her acting there
ok, erm. to finish this review. i just wanna tell you that she is a great actress in Nancy Drew but a horrible actress and singer in Unfabulous.

I just can't stand this girl and her show! She isn't even a good singer, even worse at acting. She is in the line with the talentless people like Nat Wolff. I can't beleive people like this buck-tooth, bad singing girl! No wonder they put her on a show called "Unfabulous", because that perfectly describes her. A bad singer. A bad actor. Bad at everything. She's also very ugly. Her hair looks like it isn't brushed ever and her face looks like a weasel. They choose a perfect show for her, though. They have one word both in common. Word: Unfabulous!
