Peter Parker's high school nemesis, Flash Thompson, is used in an illegal experiment to increase intelligence. Now, the usually thick-headed jock has an intelligence to rival Peter's! While this is happening, Spider-Man has to deal with two thugs that show similar signs of intelligence.

In his 1994 film Little Giants, Devon was so much taller than the other children in the cast that he had to go barefoot for many of the football-playing scenes. Also, Devon resorted to making himself look closer to the height of the other kids by bending his knees a certain way. (edit) Devon's film Idle Hands, a comedy/horror flick about a high school killer, came out the same week that the Columbine High School shootings happened. This was an unfortunate coincidence that forced producers to stop all press coverage, cancel the premiere, and pull the film in four different states. (edit) Devon is a huge fan of horror film writer and director, Rob Zombie. One of his goals is to work with him. (edit) Devon's favorite film stars are Meg Ryan, Robert DeNiro, and Demi Moore.
(edit) Devon was once offered his own sitcom, but turned it down because he wanted to pursue film, rather than television. (edit)

On actor Jack Nicholson...
Devon: I would love to work with him, he has done so much, he is so cool, and you see him sitting at a Lakers game with some hot chick and he’s got his sunglasses on and he’s just friggin’ Jack, and it’s so awesome, you know?

Devon Sawa: Just stick to your goals, your dreams and be very patient, because everyday there is more and more actors that want to do it. The competition is fierce, so stick with it. As much there is talent, there’s a lot of luck; being at the right place at the right time. (edit) Devon Sawa: I really got into Meg Ryan after I saw her in When a Man Loves a Woman. I had a huge crush on her. She's a great actress, and I just like the way she carries herself. (edit) On his idea of a dream date...
Devon: I'd like to go to the beach at night and picnic on the beach, maybe hold hands, walk down the beach, listen to the waves under the moon. That probably would be my dream date. (edit) Devon: L.A. is a really crazy place; and it has a really fast pace and fake people. Everybody wants to be your friend at one point or another. It's crazy. (edit)
