Sean first realized he wanted to be an actor when he was 17 years old. (edit) Sean and Cam Gigandet received a the 2008 MTV Movie Award for "Best Fight" in the movie Never Back Down. (edit) Sean is 5'11" tall. (edit) Sean hopes to someday direct, produce, and write his own movies. (edit) Sean was named the Junior Male Model of the Year at the International Model and Talent Association event in 1999 even though he was four to six inches shorter than his competitors. He eventually gave up modeling to focus on acting. (edit)

Sean: High school is high school, but it's not until you get out of high school that you realize that it's just a stepping stone in life. Nothing is easy about high school. I didn't know where I fit. There are so many cliques of people who are popular and who are not. You get too caught up trying to figure out where you fit in the whole scheme of things, but really, it truly doesn't matter. All that matters is that you have your friends who are your friends--period.
