In 1977, Robert was nominated for a David Award at the David di Donatello Awards in the category of Best Foreign Film (Miglior Film Straniero) for his 1976 film Marathon Man. (edit) Robert has declined offers to produce then future blockbusters Airport (1970), The French Connection (1971), and Jaws (1975). (edit) Robert married Phyllis George on April 14, 1977. They divorced on July 22, 1978. They had no children together. Although the fourth wife for Robert, this was the first marriage for Phyllis. (edit) In May 2002, Robert recieved his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. (edit) Robert is often called Bob Evans by those close to him. (edit)
