Shawn and Gus investigate the death of a safety inspector aboard an offshore oil rig. The investigation is complicated by the commander of the coast guard, Barbara Dunbar, Chief Vick's sister.

Maggie has had roles in the movies Cheaters, Pleasantville and Nice Guys Sleep Alone. (edit) Maggie is a beginner at poker, but she occasionally plays with the cast and crew of her show Psych. (edit) One of Maggie's first jobs was when she guest-starred on Cybill, starring Cybill Shepherd. In 2008, Cybill came on to guest-star on Maggie's show Psych. (edit) Maggie appeared in the television movie Nancy Drew. ABC was prepared to make it into a series if it was well-received, but it was not, so no episodes were made. (edit) Maggie appeared on an episode of Fear Itself titled In Sickness and In Health with her boyfriend and Psych costar James Roday. The two played a couple who were about to be married. (edit)

Maggie: (On Psych) We have so much fun on the show and yes, the comedy and shenanigans, if you will, that you see on screen is probably doubled off screen. We're always - it almost becomes some sort of game or challenge to crack the other one up, especially when it's their close up. I tend to be a little more professional - no. But James and Dulé, it is very, very funny. It's very hard, even if you look at our blooper reels, it's very hard to get through a take without one of them trying to do something to crack - I mean it really does become a game. (edit) Maggie: (On season 3 of Psych) This season we add a lot of different elements to the show. You see a little more of an emotional side to Shawn, James' character. I think it's going to be a great season. We'll start to see a little more of the maybe romantic side in Shawn's life play out a little bit more with well, I'm not going to give too much away - it's going to be a really good year and we're so excited that John [Landis is] directing us again. (edit) Maggie: (On her Psych costars James Roday and Dule Hill) They sing nonstop on set. It doesn't matter if the song was a hit, and it doesn't matter if they even know it, they'll just make up their own words! (edit) Maggie: I mean, we're just so lucky. I think we all just feel so lucky because we're on a show that we really push ourselves to deliver the best. (edit) Maggie: (On season 3 of Psych) I think there's a little more weight to the episodes this year. There's a little more substance.
