(edit) In an August 2007 issue of Entertainment Weekly, an anonymous film studio executive was quoted saying, "Lindsay's troubles are what made her popular. Her movies don't sell. She's a pain to work with. I think she's done." (edit)
Lindsay: (about going to rehab at age 21) People were a little harsh on me, and it was hard to get through things. No one was being very supportive. But I'm a tough cookie. I got through it myself, and with good friends and family.
(edit)
Lindsay: (revealing she has given up some friends in a bid to stay sober) There are friends that have been hard to hang out with because they've gone down a different path. But it's really hard because I'm the kind of person who wants to trust everyone.
(edit)
Lindsay: (about originally wanting to play Regina in "Mean Girls") I really didn't want to be playing the "bad girl." I just......you know what I mean? Like, it would be cool if I could do that eventually, but at this point in my career, I can't just go and play a mean girl and have everyone still think that I'm nice.
(edit)
Lindsay: I'm the hardest working person I know. I'm 20 years old--is it a crime to want to go out dancing with my friends?
(edit)
Lindsay: My motto is: Live every day to the fullest - in moderation.
