In May 2001, Jennifer took part in a White House benefit for UNICEF, assisting magician David Copperfield with an illusion where it appeared that he sawed her into six pieces. (edit) Jennifer and her babies were featured on the front cover of the March 21, 2008 issue of People when her twins were a month old. People magazine paid $6 million for the exclusive pictures of the new babies. (edit) At the 2007 American Music Awards, Jennifer was chosen as the Favorite Latin Music Artist. Jennifer: (revealing she is determined to stay fashionable throughout her pregnancy) People make fun of me because when I have them over to my house I usually have a dress on. I don't like the way the sweatpants look with the extra weight. I like to feel good about myself even at home. (edit) Jennifer: (admitting her pregnancy was the worst kept secret) I kind of feel like everybody knew anyway. I was on tour with a bubble gut! I do realise people want to know because they're interested, but this is the first time I'm going through this. This is my experience and my husband's experience, and we get to hold that for a little while. (edit) Jennifer: I love the fantasy that fashion brings! (edit) Jennifer: (on her perfume) The smell of a baby’s head intrigues me right now. But no babies went into that bottle. None! (edit) Jennifer: I have a butt, I have boobs and I have a woman's curves. There is no way I'd see them go to zero. I just don't see how I could get down to that size and still be healthy. It wouldn't work. I hate to look in a magazine and see a picture of a girl who is so thin she looks unhappy and as if she just needs someone to give her a good meal. (edit)
