Lili and partner, Nick Flynn, are expecting their first child in January 2008. (edit) Lili was a drama school classmate of the X-Files star Gillian Anderson. (edit) Lili guess starred in episode Mind's Eye of The X Files in 1998 and was nominated to an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her appearance.
(edit) Lily has a black pug dog named Gulliver which she found in the middle of the road. (edit) Lili does not drink and no longer smokes. She rarely uses makeup. (edit)

Lili: (on how she choses her roles) I think what's important to me in taking a part is whether or not the director can get as much creative control as possible. (edit) Lili: The weird thing about this business and I'm sure this operates in many other things, but it's very present and acute in this business is that a lot of people don't realize that they have power. Particularly actors. (edit) Lili: I tried to do the commercial thing. But I don't want to keep shoving Twinkies down everyone's throat. People are hungry for something of more substance. (edit) Lili: It's been very important for me to follow my gut or my heart, or whichever organ you want to go by. (edit) Lili: I see my job as an actor to be as good a channel as I can be. Acting is a gift, and I have respect for it. (edit)
