An exploration of the Giganto (King Kong) legend using modern science, technology, and historic eyewitness accounts. Gigantopithecus is believed to have existed 9 to 5-million years ago and supposedly was around 10-feet tall. Some fossil evidence shows that it may have lived in China or India.
In 2007, When "Gilmore Girls" was cancelled, Edward was never informed of this, and only found out when a woman at a coffee shop came up to him and said: "Hey, I'm sorry your show was cancelled, I loved it". Ed Responded by saying: "It Is?".

Edward is like his character Richard on the Gilmore Girls for the fact that someone in his family shares the same name as a character on the show. In the show his grandaughters nickname is Rory and in real life his son is named Rory.
