The New People become more worried than ever about other people being on the island after they find a unknown body buried in a grave and one of their children turns up missing.

The women on the island begin to ask for laws to protect their rights as individuals when some of the men take too many liberties with them.

Susan weighs her options with Ben after the women fail to get any laws passed to protect them.
