1. Help Wanted / Reef Blower / Tea at the Treedome

Help Wanted: SpongeBob wants to work at the local restaurant, "The Krusty Krab," and with a little help from Patrick, is on his way. But Mr. Krabs and Squidward don't want him there. They send him out to do a job of picking a special spatula. In the meantime, some anchovies are coming by, and are hungry. SpongeBob must feed them all to get the job and save Mr. Krabs and Squidward.

Reef Blower: There's a small clam shell in Squidward's yard and he carelessly kickes it into SpongeBob's yard. SpongeBob gets out his trusty reef blower. Squidward always seems to get the worst end of everything as SpongeBob's reef blower goes crazy and messes up Squidward's yard - all because Squidward was lazy and kicked that one small clamshell in SpongeBob's yard.

Tea at the Treedome: SpongeBob meets a squirrel named Sandy, who breathes air. SpongeBob, trying to impress her, tells her he breathes air. The only problem is that he doesn't know what air is. She invites him over to her treedome, and he can't say no. Patrick gives him useless tips on how to be fancy and SpongeBob goes on over for some tea and cookies. Slowly when there, he is shriveling up and desperately searches for water. Patrick comes in to tell him he is not being fancy enough and they both shrivel up. Sandy comes up with a quick soulution to the problem.

2. Bubblestand / Ripped Pants  

First aired: 7/17/1999    Production Code: 02

Bubblestand: SpongeBob opens up a bubblestand offering bubbles and lessons for 25 cents, Patrick arrives. After Squidward hears them making noise by blowing bubbles, he comes out of his house and reprimands them. After Spongebob and Patrick leave, Squidward decides to blow a bubble but they immediately come back and catch Squidward, forcing him to pay 25 cents. After Squidward fails to blow a bubble many times, Spongebob tells him to follow the technique, but is Squidward too arrogant? Ripped Pants: After Larry asks Sandy if she wants to go lift weights, SpongeBob feels left out, but decides to go with them. After bending down to pick up the "weight" SpongeBob accidentally rips his pants. After his period of extreme embarrassment Scooter tells Spongebob that it was hilarious. After purposely ripping his pants several more times, he takes it a little too far by pretending to drown. After Sandy gets angry at him, she leaves to go with Larry. SpongeBob will need to tell her how he really feels in order to get her back.

3. Jellyfishing / Plankton!  

First aired: 7/31/1999    Production Code: 03

Jellyfishing: SpongeBob and Patrick want to include Squidward in their jellyfishing fun, but Squid brushes them off only to be stung by a jellyfish while riding his bike! After Squidward returns from the hospital, SpongeBob and Patrick want to give him his best day ever which includes... jellyfishing! Squidward finds the jellyfish that stung him and goes to seek his revenge, but he ends up with a little more than he bargained for when he meets the jellyfish's mother!

Plankton!: It's mass chaos at the Krusty Krab when the evil Plankton tries to steal the precious Krabby Patty for his own restaurant, the Chum Bucket. Luckily, he's plan fails, but Plankton is not about to give up. Using his elaborate and college-educated plan, he takes control of SpongeBob's brain forcing Spongebob to bring a Krabby Patty to his restaurant. Will SpongeBob be able to resist Plankton and save the secret recipe?

4. Naughty Nautical Neighbors / Boating School  

First aired: 8/7/1999    Production Code: 04

Naughty Nautical Neighbors: When SpongeBob and Patrick are communicating through bubbles, Squidward is preparing a cake for himself to eat. But he gets mad and decides to also communicate with bubbles, and insults them through the bubbles, making them break their friendship, so he later invites them to his house and SpongeBob and Patrick become friends again.

Boating School: SpongeBob fails his boating test, so Patrick decides to give him advice to pass the test with a walkie-talkie in his head to give him all the answers.

5. Pizza Delivery / Home Sweet Pineapple  

First aired: 8/14/1999    Production Code: 05

Pizza Delivery: SpongeBob and Squidward are given orders to deliver a pizza, but the two have a heck of a hard time trying to get the pizza to its destination and before you know it they are in the middle of nowhere. SpongeBob must use his pioneer skills to find the way back to Bikini Bottom. Home Sweet Pineapple: Nematodes destroy SpongeBob's pineapple house. After a failed attempt to rebuild it, SpongeBob decides that maybe he should just move back in with his parents.

6. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy / Pickles  

First aired: 8/21/1999    Production Code: 06

Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy: SpongeBob and Patrick try to meet the stars of their favorite superhero series, "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy", who currently reside in the local rest home. Pickles: When SpongeBob's enemy, Bubble Bass, comes in and orders a Krabby Patty, SpongeBob forgets to put the pickles in. Then, his whole world turns upside-down, literally. He even forgets how to make a Krabby Patty. Can he ever show his face in the Krusty Krab again?

7. Hall Monitor / Jellyfish Jam  

First aired: 8/28/1999    Production Code: 07

Hall Monitor: Mrs. Puff finally chose SpongeBob to be hall monitor of the day! Overly excited after acquiring his new position, SpongeBob gives a very long acceptance speech. Finally, when the bell rings, everyone is so excited to leave that SpongeBob doesn't get a chance to do his hall monitor duties. Out of pity, Mrs. Puff allows SpongeBob to wear the uniform for the rest of the day. SpongeBob sets out to aid the citizens of Bikini Bottom, but he ends up causing more harm than good.

Jellyfish Jam: A jellyfish follows SpongeBob home after a day of jellyfishing, so SpongeBob decides to keep it as a pet. Squidward warns SpongeBob of the difficulties of domesticating a wild animal, but SpongeBob takes no heed. After hours of loud music and dancing with his new jellyfish, SpongeBob goes to bed. During the night, the jellyfish brings its friends into SpongeBob's house which they begin to destroy with their ruckus. Will SpongeBob be able get rid of the jellyfish before they cause any irreparable damage?

8. Sandy's Rocket / Squeaky Boots  

First aired: 9/4/1999    Production Code: 08

Sandy's Rocket: SpongeBob and Patrick are accidentally launched into space while playing around on Sandy's new rocketship. They land back in Bikini Bottom, and they think everyone in town are aliens.

Squeaky Boots: SpongeBob's new pair of boots produces an outrageous squeaking sound whenever he walks. When he wears them to work, the sound begins to drive Mr. Krabs absolutely nuts, so Mr. Krabs tries everything to get rid of them.

9. Nature Pants / Opposite Day  

First aired: 9/11/1999    Production Code: 09

Nature Pants: SpongeBob decides to leave his civilized life in Bikini Bottom, and go live uninhibited and free, among a pack of wild jellyfish. During this time, Sandy and Patrick are trying to come up with plans to try to get SpongeBob back.

Opposite Day: Squidward wants to sell his house and move away, but he knows that no one will buy it if they see rambunctious SpongeBob around. So Squidward decides to tell SpongeBob that today is "Opposite Day," in hopes that he will behave around the real estate agent.

10. Culture Shock / F.U.N.  

First aired: 9/18/1999    Production Code: 10

Culture Shock: Mr. Krabs wants to make more money, and Squidward suggests a talent show. Everyone is invited, including SpongeBob's parents, and Squidward thinks he will be the best act. He even tries to make SpongeBob think he is acting by cleaning up afterwards. SpongeBob, however, wows the crowd with his cleaning 'act'.

F.U.N.: SpongeBob tries to be friends with Plankton, whom SpongeBob thinks is only evil because he's lonely and made fun of. But Mr. Krabs doesn't believe it. He knows Plankton is evil on the inside. He puts Plankton to the test only to prove to SpongeBob that Plankton is only after the formula.

11. MuscleBob BuffPants / Squidward, the Unfriendly Ghost  

First aired: 9/25/1999    Production Code: 11

MuscleBob BuffPants: SpongeBob goes to Sandy's place to go work out, but it doesn't do good. He then buys a pair of phony arms and competes in an anchor-toss competition. Squidward, the Unfriendly Ghost: Squidward builds a wax sculpture of himself, but SpongeBob and Patrick destroy it and think the statue is the "dead" Squidward. Squidward comes out as a "ghost," and SpongeBob and Patrick have to follow his commands.

12. The Chaperone / Employee of the Month  

First aired: 10/2/1999    Production Code: 12

The Chaperone:
SpongeBob is asked to take Mr. Krab's daughter, Pearl, to her school prom after she was dumped by her boyfriend, but as in most cases the prom does not turn out as planed and Pearl and Spongebob both get kicked out.

Employee of the Month:
SpongeBob and Squidward compete intensely with each other in order to be the Krusty Krab's Employee of the Month. They start working so hard that soon they begin overdoing it and that turns it trouble at the Krusty Krab.

Special. Scaredy Pants / I Was a Teenage Gary  

First aired: 10/28/1999    Production Code: 13

Scaredy Pants:
Spongebob decides to try and make a real splash at Mr. Krabs' Halloween Party, so he chooses to dress as the legendary Flying Dutchman.

I Was a Teenage Gary:
Spongebob makes Squidward in charge of taking care of Gary. But when Squidward accidentally forgets, he and Spongebob must cure Gary before the worst happens.

14. SB-129 / Karate Choppers  

First aired: 12/31/1999    Production Code: 14

SB-129: Squidward hides in the Krusty Krab inside a freezer, and SpongeBob and Patrick try to look for him, but he's trapped in a freezer for 2,000 years and travels through time, as he goes to the past and then returns.

Karate Choppers: SpongeBob and Sandy are practicing karate, but Mr. Krabs sees them and tells them to do no more karate because it poisons their minds.

15. Sleepy Time / Suds  

First aired: 1/17/2000    Production Code: 15

Sleepy Time: SpongeBob discovers what all his friends are dreaming about, every time he enters a dream he ruins there dream and in the end everyone comes to his house and tells him to stop messing with there dreams. Suds: SpongeBob comes down with a case of the SUDS - a flu-like illness in which bubbles escape through pores in the body, then Dr. Patrick comes over and tries to convince Spongebob that he can't go to the Doctor and all of the bad things that happen to people who go to the doctor like reading Old Magazines.

Special. Valentine's Day / The Paper  

First aired: 2/14/2000    Production Code: 16

Valentine's Day:
SpongeBob plans a wonderful Valentine's Day surprise for Patrick, but things don't work out as he'd hoped. And Patrick is about to loose it when Patrick finds out Spongebob gave out Valentines to all of these people that he barley knew.

The Paper:
SpongeBob makes a great toy out of a gum wrapper, much to Squidward's chagrin.

17. Arrgh! / Rock Bottom  

First aired: 3/15/2000    Production Code: 17

Arrgh!: SpongeBob and Patrick play a treasure hunt game in the Krusty Krab, and Mr. Krabs plays it and wins many times, until he decides the next day to go on a real treasure hunt to find The Flying Dutchman's treasure. Rock Bottom: After SpongeBob and Patrick make it out of a carnival, they take a bus and are sent to another city that is called "Rock Bottom." They get stuck there trying to find the bus to get back home.

18. Texas / Walking Small  

First aired: 3/22/2000    Production Code: 18

Texas: Sandy Cheeks becomes homesick for her native land of Texas, so SpongeBob and Patrick try to find a way to bring a little bit of Texas to Bikini Bottom before Sandy goes back to Texas. Will SpongeBob and Patrick convince her to stay before it's too late? Walking Small: Plankton tries to get SpongeBob to be mean, ruthless, and nasty, and it almost works, but will SpongeBob's good heart make him become nice again before it's too late?

19. Fools in April / Neptune's Spatula  

First aired: 4/1/2000    Production Code: 19

Fools in April:
Bikini Bottom celebrates April Fool's Day, and SpongeBob plays a series of practical jokes, but when SpongeBob starts to get on Squidwards nerves, he decides to play a trick of his own.

Neptune's Spatula:
SpongeBob participates in a cook-off at the Fry Cook Hall of Fame, but inadvertently manages to disrupt everything.

20. Hooky / Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II  

First aired: 4/8/2000    Production Code: 20

Hooky: Mr. Krabs warns SpongeBob to stay away from mysterious fishing hooks that have suddenly appeared around Bikini Bottom. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II: SpongeBob wins the coveted "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy" Conch Call as a prize in a cereal contest, which he can use to summon Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy at any time, for emergencies (of course, to SpongeBob, being unable to open a jar qualifies as an emergency!).
