Sonic and Dr. Eggman are fighting outside his base once more. However, they are overcome by a massive explosion of Chaos Control that sends Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream and Cheese, Big, and Eggman to another planet inhabited by humans. After landing in his pool, Sonic befriends a young boy named Christopher. Together, they meet up with Sonic's old pals and try to stop Dr. Eggman from taking the seven Chaos Emeralds as well as taking over this new planet!

Confermed by TMS and 4Kids, the show has officially ended. However some fans of Sonic X are refusing to believe it, even though TMS and 4Kids admitted it. Sonic and Dr. Eggman are fighting outside his base once more. The Rebirth of the Planets

With their recent victory, everyone thinks about the difficult times they've had to undergo to get where they are now. Now, with the fight between the Metarex behind them, one final mission remains that only Dr. Eggman can resolve. But when Chris learns of some distressing news, Chris wonders whether Bokkun, Dr. Eggman and his robots really want to see him return home or if they have an ulterior motive in mind. Moreover, is he willing to leave his friends behind?

I have no problem with admitting that I am a bit of a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, so I was excited about an anime. However, I do find the anime to be only decent due to a couple of reasons.

For one, new character Chris gets much more focus than the mainstream Sonic characters, moreso than Sonic himself on many occasions, and along with that, the English version really isn't that good due to mediocre music and (for the most part) bad voice-acting. If you can get past that though, it's a pretty good anime, but not the best.

this is one of the best shows, a standing ovation. I rate it 5 stars overall, the picture was great, the characters very well thought out, and although the American Version was a very big disappointment, the Japanese version was able to clean up. really, this is a very good show, with very good characters and a very good plot. basically: I Love This Show, Why Did They Cut It Out Of Television?!?!?!?!? that's All i ask, WHY??? now they have all of these old, dumb shows, and they aren't even half as good!!!!!! it's OK, because i know they will Eventually come to their senses and bring it back... =]

This anime is quite good how Sonic and his friends end up on Earth after the evil Eggman creates a machine and transports them to Earth and then they befriend a boy named Chris who has celebrity parents. I really like Sonic and Amy cause they are really nice and Sonic is so fast and Amy is pink and they are my favorite characters. I really got into this anime and I really love to watch this show and I really loves to play the games when I was younger and now I wanted to see the anime which rocks and it definately deserves a 10 out of 10.

Why did they cancel this show, man? It was so awesome, maybe the best show ever! I bet it's been replaced with some other junky show! Sonic was the best and coolest animated character in television programming. He, Tails, and Chris go on adventures to stop Dr. Eggman from all sorts of chaotic things. I really, really liked this show!
I just can't believe they cancelled this show, it was simply the coolest. This really stinks. If they don't bring this show back, I may go on strike with other viewers to bring this show back!!! The bottom line is: Bring this show back!!!

I think that overall this was an excellent show, and I'm sad it's cancelled... but I still am a fan of it, and rewatching it for a while helps me think sometimes. It's plots are well set up, though I wish some episodes weren't put in there, while there are others I'm glad they made. The first season is a little more light-hearted, as well as the second one, but the third one gets a little more deep, with the gang's mission to stop the Metarex, save the galaxy, not to mention Chris being along for the ride! The final episodes for the third season were the best thought out, much like the ending for the second season. I'm glad it wasn't left at just episode 52.
