Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry, two successful and popular outlaw cousins in the old West, decide itīs time to go straight. The problem is that the governor just canīt give them amnesty right away, they have to prove that they deserve it. And in the meantime they will still be wanted. Hunting them is everybody, from sheriffs to bounty hunters, to posses and ordinary people.

add »The boys accept the offer of a vacation without realising that the activities during this vacation involve catching and taming wild horses. They and their friend Bronc check into a boarding house near where the horses are, and meet some people whose coach has broken down. Among them is Beegee, a woman on the look-out for a husband. Her appraising eye takes in both Heyes and the Kid. And then thereīs the very religious man with a sister who has a crush on the Kid. The boys must also engage in a battle of wits with a ranch owner who thinks that the horses are trespassing on his land. Perhaps the only solution is to shoot him to prevent him stealing "their" horses?
